At Utilus, we are looking for a senior Architect. You will be responsible for the technical direction and quality of an exciting global communications product. Our client delivers communications solutions for hundreds of companies world wide, across tens of thousands of employees and millions of end customers. All in a state of the art Azure environment with very high requirements on availability 24/7.

You will need to have a demonstrable track record in consistently delivering high availability solutions across multiple time zones. Furthermore you will need the leadership skills to lead a team of architects and multiple teams of developers, and communicate your ideas and architecture clearly to all stakeholders. 

About you

• Strong proficiency in .Net 7, Microservices in AKS, and Azure Cloud is a must.

• Mandatory experience with SQL Server, Redis, k8s, and Docker

• Knowledge of SignalR, DAPR, C# and CosmosDB is advantageous.

• Leading architecture design and definition of complex systems integrated with standard components

• Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business Server is an advantage

• Modernisation/cloud transformation

• Proactive attitude to drive yourself 

• Can work with tight deadlines

• Can hit the ground running and open to take the “driver” position

• Can assist clients with technical design considerations

• Can be in the Rotterdam office at least 2 times per week
