About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Product Management to lead and grow our Product Management team.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how Utilus translates complex client needs into elegant, scalable digital solutions. You will also play a central role in guiding our transition toward AI-enhanced practices.

Your mission: build an efficient, effective, and motivated Product Management organization — one that combines structure, creativity, and business sense to deliver value across every project.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of Product Managers.

• Foster a collaborative, growth-minded culture with clear goals and open communication.

• Promote strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, delivery, and client teams.

• Conduct performance reviews, support recruitment, and ensure each team member thrives professionally.

Product Management Strategy & Execution

• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into actionable requirements and technical visions.

• Guide the creation of high-quality documentation, including requirements, functional specs, and workflow designs.

• Use your technical and analytical insight to validate feasibility, design sound system blueprints, and ensure user-centric outcomes.

Business Performance & Growth

• Partner with senior leadership to drive operational goals, budgets, and delivery excellence.

• Act as a pre-sales consultant, identifying opportunities for new or expanded engagements.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously evolving team practices and skills to keep Utilus at the forefront of product management innovation.

Driving the AI Shift

• Champion the strategic use of AI and LLM-based tools in product management.

• Identify opportunities to enhance design, development, and decision-making through AI.

• Guide teams in adopting AI-driven best practices for product management.

• Stay at the forefront of technological trends and translate them into actionable product management strategies.

Partnership and Influence

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex technical decisions.

• Partner with the Head of Delivery and other senior leaders to evolve technical operating models.

• Represent Utilus’s technical thought leadership externally at events and in the market.

Utilus Way of Working

• Own and evolve the Utilus Way of Working from a Product Management  perspective, ensuring consistency across projects.

• Align product management practices with Utilus’s delivery principles and operational standards.

• Ensure product management team apply the Utilus Way of Working effectively in all client engagements, adapting it to new technologies and project contexts.

What We Are Looking For

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years relevant experience in product management, including experience in leading teams or programs.

• Strong vision for building high-performing, motivated teams.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.

• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Alignment with Utilus’s mission to enable the green energy transition through technology.

• Experience in an IT consultancy company is a plus.
