About The Job

Utilus helps customers rethink, redesign, and rebuild their application landscape via three core services: Pathfinding, Software Design & Delivery, and Cloud Operations. Utilus Cloud Operations builds, manages, and monitors high-traffic mission-critical applications in Azure. We work closely with software engineering teams to assist them in achieving their goals.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be embedded in a development team that maintains and modernises a mission-critical system.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Dev-Ops Engineer

• Solid knowledge and understanding of core networking protocols and computing technologies

• Ability to make technology decisions and persuade those around you in a constructive manner

• Proven experience designing and setting up application platforms in Azure

• You have solid experience with Kubernetes

• You identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions

• You have excellent cloud engineering skills in Azure

• Up have experience as a CI/CD pipeline guru and tools such as Terraform

• Problem Solving: you identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions

• Collaboration with Teams: you closely collaborate with Software Architects,  Product Managers and Project Managers to guarantee that proposed solutions are implemented accurately and on time. Also, you collaborate with clients in a project context

• Fast-paced: you work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT (or related) field

• 4-6 years of DevOps engineering experience in mission-critical environments

• You have excellent cloud engineering skills in Azure

• You are a CI/CD pipeline guru in Azure DevOps and have strong experience with Terraform

• You have solid knowledge and understanding of core networking protocols and computing technologies

• You have the ability to organize, prioritize, and plan operational tasks with and for team members

• You have one or several of these certifications (preferred): AZ-104 Certified Cloud Practitioner or Cloud Digital Leader + AZ-400 Engineer / Solution Architect / Solution Architect Associate; Kubernetes CKA or KCNA certification

• Your stakeholder management is excellent. You easily work with the client's stakeholders, supporting them in identifying and aligning on what is required in the project

• You have a hands-on mentality, and you are comfortable in fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements

• You are self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work independently  

• You are willing to work on a project at a client that offers lottery/gambling services

• You are willing to be available for standby duty (24/7 shift 1x per month), a 24/7 allowance is included

• Your communication skills in English are excellent (Dutch is a plus)
