With our unwavering commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented Cloud Architect to join our esteemed Cloud Operations team.

At Utilus, Cloud Operations is dedicated to building, managing, and monitoring high-traffic, mission-critical applications in leading cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. As a Cloud Architect, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with software engineering teams, assisting them in achieving their ambitious goals.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop (cloud) solutions, taking into account customer requirements and ensuring effective integration with software components.
• Collaborate closely with the software team to ensure seamless integration and alignment of requirements.
• Take responsibility for understanding and aligning customer requirements, providing mentorship and guidance to the team, and effectively conveying and explaining your own solutions.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of core networking protocols and computing technologies

• Ability to argue and make technology decisions and persuade those around you in a constructive manner. 

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan operational tasks with and for team members

Experience

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on designing and deploying cloud-based solutions
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a must.
  
• Proven experience setting up Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps build pipelines
• Proven experience designing and setting up application platforms in Azure
• CI/CD pipeline guru in Azure Devops, and tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Arm
  
• At least 6 years of DevOps engineering (preferably in mission-critical environments)
• Dealing with customers in a project context
• AZ-400 or AWS DevOps Engineer / Solution Architect / Solution Architect Associate or Google Cloud Engineer certification
• Kubernetes CKA or KCNA certification
